Sick Of Paying The Higher Prices For Pure Haven Essentials Products But Not Sure What Shampoos Can Take It’s Place? Find Out Here

Pure_Haven_Essentials_Shampoo_Alternatives_sham_pooATTN: This post will only make sense if you have read my original Pure Haven Essentials Article.

Well I got a lot of people asking on about what the best alternatives are to PHE.

So I decided to write this post to show everyone some products you can use instead of spending lots of money on MLM products like Pure haven.

Their shampoos seem to be one of their best sellers so I will mainly be covering those. I have found much cheaper healthy alternatives.

If you have sensitivities that are not typical, you really want to mainly focus on making your own homade soap products that can take the place of Pure haven Essentials.

I have written a full write-up about Pure Haven Here if you have not already read about them.

I have suggested Dr. Bronners soap as an alternative to Pure Haven products as I have had a lot of questions about good alternatives that are cheaper.

Dr. Bronners soap can be used for everything but a few say either the soap makes their hair itch or it can make your hair thick feeling.

If if makes your hair itch that is not normal so it could also be from a yeast overgrowth causing dry scalp and then causing many soaps to make your head feel itchy.

I will explain a few ways to make Dr. Bronners work for you and then below these suggestions I will have other replacement shampoos and soaps:

#1 There are times where you can put coconut oil on your hair first and then wash out with Dr. Bronners soap.

If you use Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Soap you should make sure you’re using a foamer for the soap to work correctly as it needs to be foamed or diluted.

You can find what foaming soap dispensers I’m talking about here 8 oz Foaming Soap Dispenser Pump Bottle-4 Pack- BPA Free- Improved Design Foamer

When you use it full strength it can be a little greasy feeling I’m thinking that could be one of the problems.

You could Also Try making your own it’s pretty easy and all you have to do is just put in squeeze bottles:

Here is a great simple homemade recipe:

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2/3 cup Castile soap
  • 10-15 drops essential oil of your choice
  • 2 teaspoons almond oil or olive oil

Mix together all the ingredients in the bottle and shake thoroughly. Just give it a shake before each use.

Also something that you may want to try is adding in some aloe barbadensis (organic aloe vera) extract or juice Pure Haven uses juice. Get Aloe Vera Oil For Skin, Hair And Health 4 oz Amber Glass Bottle with Glass Dropper HERE.

Another method to get rid of the dry scalp and flaky skin you can do it almost overnight with these easy remedies below

#1 Apple Cider Vinegar – You can also try things like massaging Apple Cider vinegar in hair and wrap with a towel and leave in for at least 20 minutes but the longer the better. You can even leave it in overnight to really help.

#2 you can do this also with Lemon juice:

  1. Mix 2 tablespoons of warm coconut oil with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and massage onto the scalp.
  2. Leave it on for 1 hour then wrap your hair in a warm towel.
  3. Leave for 20 minutes and wash off with mild shampoo.

Note: You can add grapefruit juice or grapefruit seed extract for more effective results.

Quick Tip: Also you can Supplement diet with extra amounts of High quality fish oil supplements Like  BlueBonnet Natural Omega-3 Salmon Oil Softgels, 180 Count

You want to take as much fish oil as you can, you can almost never get enough omega 3.

This will help with scalp fungus causing drying or Dry and unmanageable hair and dandruff. Also you can take cold showers and/or shower less, as showering all the times is really not good for you or your skin.

Also no matter what shampoo you use, you want to try to start shampooing your hair less, like 2-3 times a week, once a week is best but not very practical. Shampooing everyday strips oils and then your hair produces extra to replace all the oils stripped daily by shampoos.

Massaging  hair with apple cider or white vinegar diluted or honey and rinse with water  will help transition your hair from producing too much oil in about 3-4 weeks. Once it stops you can just shampoo once a week or a little as you can manage realistically.

You can also try a simple hair rinse

  1. Take water + baking soda and then turn into a paste.
  2. Then rub it in your hair, rinse it out…
  3. then pour on some diluted apple cider vinegar, rinse well or leave ACV in with towel on head.

Ok So Some Alternative Suggestions For Pure Haven Shampoo Replacements

Pure_Haven_Essentials_Shampoo_Alternatives_double_priceNow If you’re not into making shampoo for yourself you can also try these alternatives to using Pure haven. They’re not in any specific order they’re just good products to choose from.

#1   ALOE SHAMPOO’S To replace PHE Shampoo

PURA D’OR Scalp and Dandruff Therapy Shampoo with Aloe, Argan Oil and Tree Tea

This is a cheaper alternative to a very similar formulation as Pure Haven for all the people saying they want Aloe as first ingredient

Aloe Vera Shampoo Green People 200 ml Liquid –

This one is for people who feel their hair feels too gooey with Aloe shampoo with aloe as the first ingredient.

#2 Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

Natural Cosmetics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

Jason soaps contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, this sounds bad but it’s not and is an organic safer alternative to SLS or sodium lauryl sulfates.

Oddly enough even sodium lauryl sulfates, which have a bad name actually have not been really that unsafe.

SLS have not caused any known problems but have been said by some to cause problems. I stay away from them myself to be safe but just wanted to explain that a little as I thought they were worse than they are.

#3  Organics Shampoo Bare

Organics Bare Shampoo for All Hair Types

#4 Gentle Herb Shampoo

 Gentle Herb Shampoo

#5 Pine Tar Soap.

 Pine Tar Bar Soap

May look like it has some chemicals in it but they are natural and safe. This soap also helps dry scalp and dandruff naturally and you can use it on your hair as well. They also have a liquid form.

Good tip for dry itchy scalp. Add in Aloe to your favorite shampoo

So coloring your hair to anything that has chemicals that you apply to your hair could also be the culprit of itching or dryness. Dr. Bronners and other shampoos seem to dry it out..

So you can add in  Aloe Vera Oil  to homemade shampoos or soaps that you by to help.

You can alos add in…

Aloe Vera Juice

Or Aloe Vera Spray

Or Aloe Vera Gel

Looking for Argan Oil after seeing Pure Haven release their own?
