American Income Life Insurance Company Scam – Not The Job You’re Looking For

American Income Life Summary:

The American Income Life Insurance Company Scam is not a scam in the eyes of the law but is right on the border of a scam.

$40-50k a year, no experience and full training!

This is what is typically seen by the people that American Income life targets for supposed job hire.

They will lure you in with phony job postings and hiring sessions to giving out Free Child Safety Kits.

These are all to get in to your house like a vacuum sales man and  hard sell you.

If you’re looking for good life insurance policy, I would recommend you to NOT go with American Income Life.

American income life is also not a good opportunity  when it comes to the business opportunity side of things.

This will take loads of time and make little in return.

Unless you recruit others to do the same things that you know didn’t work for you… this typically makes very little money. Also this is not really a business that you own. I will explain why below.

American Income Life Wants you!

Well the American Income Life Insurance Company is supposed to be this down to earth company that serves blue-collar families and unions.

You may have just been pulled in by their job advertisements. This is one of those MLM’s that tries to make you feel like it’s a  real job interview. I have seen similar things with other MLM’s like selling Cutco knifes.

They either have a fake job interview to get new recruits or they use a Child Safety Kit Trick, to lure you in… that I will talk about further down in this article.

American Income Life Insurance Is a branch of the Torchmark corporation.

They have been known to pay out a 1/3 of what most other similar policies pay out. Also have been a company that just does not have the reputation that you would want with an insurance company.

  American Income Life Insurance Value

Well there is not a lot of value in joining American Income Life.

They’re not even upfront in the beginning that they’re an MLM or network marketing company.  Many believe that they’re applying for a normal paying job position.

There will be a classroom like setting… where a presenter will sell you on making good money or whatever they can to get you excited. They will give out free cheap black coffee I have heard.

The problem is you never really know what you’re doing until the end.

Here is an example of the messages that they send to you:

They all are very similar and these just happen to be from the sister companies of the American Income Life Insurance Company Scam all owned by Torchmark.

They will all say something along the lines of your resume was forwarded to us… they have a good position for you or you would be an outstanding match etc.

Is The American Income Life Insurance Company For You?

Many will claim this is not a pyramid scheme as they’re hiring you for a sales job. The problem is, to make good money in this sales job you need to recruit others for phony jobs… This is just like the sales people who hired you did.

Well in the end you finally will be told that the company sells life insurance. They will constantly tantalize you with how fast you can move up the company ladder. They also offer you fake titles to get you excited.

They will give you a presentation about all the possibilities and financial abundance you could receive working for the company.

They would then hand you a piece of paper with questions to answer about yourself. Then what you thought of the company so far.

The men or women that do the presentations are very good at delivering that speech and can hook you if you’re not careful. They will try to convince you that this job will change your life.

  1. They will immediately want you to start filling out forms.
  2. Then want you to pay your fee to join the group.
  3. You will also need to pass a test that is not common sense and that cost $40 dollars each time you take it.(Many have claimed failing it a few times and paying over and over for it until they finally passed.)

Then once you get in, you’re given a crash course on selling.

You will only learn what the trainers tell you depending on who trains you . So once you pay all this money and spend all this time to sign up, they know they have you hook, line and sinker.

You will spend the time your employed doing some really fun stuff like cold calling, door knocking strangers houses and collecting referrals from people you have already sold. This is typical sales stuff but this company is not the same as selling life insurance for an actual company. As the whole time you will know your selling an inferior life insurance.

They Also Lure You In With The Free Child Safety Kit

So American Income Life sponsors these Child Safety Kits so they can send out agents to do in home demonstrations.
You originally will think that it’s free.

Then you will receive a package in the mail. When they call, they will always want both decision makers present because they try to up sell you on their life insurance policies.

They will try to use high pressure sales and just adjust and lower fake high prices, just to get you to say yes.

My thoughts on the American Income Life Scam

So Is American Income Life a scam? Well I would have to say in my opinion It’s not a good idea and in the eyes of the law it’s borderline legal. I would not recommend it at all.

They tell all the new recruits that you will make a six figure income and retire in 10 years off of the residuals.

Many will quit and never last past the first year.

Hire as many agents as possible to get a few polices and then when they quit A.I.L. can collect the residuals made from that persons sales for the life of the policy.

So if you don’t want to waste a bunch of time and money watch out for these “Job interviews” and “free info” about a “Child Safety kits.”

So If American Income Life Doesn’t Work To Make Realistic Money… What Does?

If you’re looking to start a business or just make money with a job American Income Life is not the place IMHO.

You will be happy that you avoided this fake job opportunity unless you’re looking for a MLM opportunity and just love selling low quality life insurance.

I had an interview scheduled this morning with them, but after doing extensive research, I’ve decided not to go. I am 34 years old with a college degree, 13 years of customer service and half a year of collections and loan experience. I refuse to waste my time or money on this sham of a job, and I told them just that. My time is valuable and I refuse to help them make illegal money.

Well i’m glad that this could save you from joining in on this…The funny thing is it’s not illegal and these companies actually get away with it just cause they add in a product. A few of them have actually tried to sue me just for writing they’re scams. But yes I’m glad that you know good and well that it’s not the way and you didn’t get sucked in. I think with your credentials you could go just about anywhere and get a job. You need to work for yourself owning your own business.. Something like affiliate blogging where you own your site the price is way cheaper than any MLM and you can realistically set up a online business and have everything you need to make money. if you haven’t already check out my #1 most recommended Program.

    Thanks for Stopping By,
